Toke Makinwa, decided to show a bit of her other side and we are loving it.
The media personality shared a photo revealing her boobies on Instagram with the caption, “BOLD.
BARE. STRONG. SEXY. POWER. FREE.
This year has been one of
transformation, transition and evolvement. I am BECOMING😜💪💋 so
excited about what’s to come… #OnBecoming #ComingSoon #BodyMindandSoul
#Art.”
As
always, there were trolls who condemned her for sharing such a photo.
Not that we are supporting Toke but why do we always have to shut down
our home celebrities when they want to be their real selves?
A
woman feels sexy and takes a sultry snap but she gets shut down if she
is Nigerian, why? Is it that Nigerians haven’t advanced to the level
where everyone is accepted, regardless of whatever?
Or
we are the only people on earth so concerned about tradition and
culture we aren’t ready to let others with a different point of view
live their lives in peace without passing judgement?
The
photograph on its own doesn’t show so much but still, even if it did,
Toke doesn’t have to face trolls because she posted this photo. Even if
she was naked, this is 2016, we are in an era of let everyone live their
life the way they want.
There are more important issues affecting your life and your environment to bother about what Toke is wearing or not wearing.
If
Kim Kardashian or Nicki Minaj had posted such a picture – of which we
know they’ve shared worse – Nigerians will praise and applaud their
‘sexiness’.
Sometimes some Nigerians can be just too hypocritical.
Truth is, it is Toke’s life. If she wants to go naked, it’s nobody’s business.
