For the most part, she discussed her UK beginnings, Jamaican link-ups in London, her mixed-raced Girl Band “From Above” managed by Beyonce’s dad, Matthew Knowles, how she evolved as an artist after moving to Nigeria, and the huge connection between Afrobeats and Reggae/Dancehall.
Seyi Shay credits the likes of 2face Idibia and Wizkid for helping her gain acceptance in Nigeria after she moved back from the UK.
